We all know publishing is in flux. Layoffs. Conglomerates. Strikes. Book Bans and more...but despite what the headlines say, the publishing industry is not all doom and gloom. There is much we creatives CAN DO during a time of great fluctuation whether or not we are in the query trenches OR looking to sell a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th novel. What we shouldn't do is PANIC. Agents are still signing new clients. Debut book deals are happening. Early to mid-career authors are signing contracts. So, to help in creating the CALM and the CONNECTIONS we need to do our best work, we, at The Writing Barn, put on our thinking caps about how we could CREATIVELY continue to do what we do best: invite the best and the brightest for webinars, classes, confabs, 6 month programs and more, offering a variety of experiences to serve our individual craft and our collective community. And to engage with the ever-changing industry in an effort to move our work--and the industry forward.

One-on-one Add Ons (Choose ONE only)

One-on-One Critique [Sold Out]
A 20 minute one-on-one session with esteemed faculty. With this add-on you have the choice for a formal critique of a work in progress: 1 full length PB manuscript (250-750 words), NF PB manuscript (1200 words including backmatter) or 8 pages of Chapter Book/MG/YA - double spaced). Faculty will read your work ahead of time and be prepared with feedback and a written critique.
